Acato can help you if you have not yet found your place at school, study or work. Many of our students/participants have not yet found that right place because they have autism. Of course, there may also be other reasons why you have not yet found your place. With us, you are welcome to develop in your own way, on your own terms and at your own pace. To become an artist, an entrepreneur, a musician or a programmer: it's up to you!

At Acato, you decide what you want to do or learn and how we will shape that together. Of course, we discuss this with each other and together we come up with
what your days will look like. Do you like
to be guided individually or do you prefer to be in a group? Do you want
a clear daily schedule or not? What is good for you,
that works, so we make that possible.

Don't have a clue what you would like right now? That does not matter! With us you can
also quietly investigate what you want. You can, for example, join a class at
. 

At our Goudse Rijweg location, we offer drawing, painting, sewing, writing and digital drawing classes. But there are also cooking lessons, Japanese and working together on creative projects. There is a lot of music. In this way, you can develop yourself creatively and discover your artistry.

There are also participants/students who want to follow certain courses, for example, because they want to become entrepreneurs, or because they want to obtain a diploma. We can also support you in this. If we do not have the knowledge for a certain subject, we will look for a good tutor for you.

 

Tariff

Because of the attention that the youngsters and adolescents of Acato need, the small groups in which we work and the intensive 1-on-1 guidance, the rate for day care is Acato:

For young people aged 18 and over: 54 euros per half-day session.

For youth, under 18 years of age: 67.50 euros per half-day session

The price includes: day care according to a personal schedule, guidance from a mentor, internship guidance or guidance to work or further education. 

Not included is therapeutic treatment.

Acato is a care institution. Through the use of volunteers, we can also assist with school subjects so that children and young people can continue to develop and, for example, obtain a diploma or certificate, according to their own chosen route, based on their own motivation. But Acato is not a school and therefore does not receive any funding for this.

How can I come to you? Acato is a functional day care. Acato is paid from the allocation of a PGB. Of course, you can also choose to pay for certain activities or lessons yourself!
In order to manage the funds and increase the resources, the Bloemfleur Foundation founded. 

With us, you choose your own route and determine how you work. This creates a safe atmosphere where you will quickly feel at home. We think it's important that it's also fun. That is why we often have lunch together and go out for a day (or part of a day). You learn more together, and you can learn from each other! Would you rather stay on your own for a while? That is always possible.

At Acato, you can be yourself. Together, we will look at what you like to do and how you can develop this further. Your talents and your wishes - that is what we are all about. You will be given your own workspace, which you can decorate yourself and where you can sit and work at any time.
