I am Roel, father of an adolescent. As an artist I paint. I live in a polder mill on the edge of Amsterdam where I also have a bed & breakfast. So I am also a miller. I used to be a miller in Delfshaven, grinding wheat for bakers. And before that I was a sailor on large sailing ships. Just like the Boot family, I live off the wind. I love outdoor sports. When people want to develop themselves in drawing, painting and becoming yourself, I find it very satisfying to contribute to that.
