In 1995, I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Maastricht, where I taught drawing/painting/graphics. In 1997, I subsequently completed the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam, an advanced art course in Autonomous Visual Art. Since then, I have been working as a visual artist in Rotterdam. Since 1999 I have been guiding adults and children in drawing, painting and graphic techniques in the form of courses and workshops at various locations and in my studio. Since spring 2016 I have been guiding a number of students at Acato and I try to find a new challenge with each student.
