I am 64 years old and I used to work as a personnel development consultant and coach for management and leadership in the central government. I once studied at the art academy and now that I no longer have a full-time job, I have found the peace of mind to pick up again my old love of the visual arts.
At Acato, I take care of the lessons in textile work forms together with Marion Daniels, a specialist teacher. I enjoy contributing to the creative development of the Acato pupils in this field. I experience the most beautiful moments when we have contact about what occupies them and when I notice that pupils grow in their self-confidence both personally and in their art practice. And although the target group and approach are really very different, working at Acato differs little from my former work. I do this work as a volunteer.
